Moto1 Motorcycles at the SEQs

Moto1 Motorcycles had the opportunity to represent KTM at all four rounds of the SEQ Junior MX Series in 2019.  With varying conditions from cold and windy at the much loved and strongly supported Kilcoy Motocross Club, to a technical and sandy visit to Warwick Dirt Bike Club, on to a newly re-established South Burnett Motocross Club in Kingaroy (earning a deserved series favourite from participants) and then a rained out Saturday and outstandingly prime track Sunday at Toowoomba Motocross Club.  Special guest rider Dean Ferris joined in for 3 rounds making it look EASY while inspiring the young of the sport.  The series had it all!

We were right there in the action each weekend and thoroughly enjoyed extending our involvement from participants to introducing the store to a community we have been part of for the last 4 years.

At each round we had MY20 KTM SX Motocross display bikes, box loads of genuine KTM Powerwear clothing and merchandise, spare parts and Motorex Oils to add to the atmosphere the clubs work tirelessly to create for these events.  The banter with the kids was entertaining as they bartered “granite rocks” as payment for KTM model bikes ;0

Proving the MX community has some serious heart we were able to give back and donate over three pallets of much needed water in our #donateaslab water drive for the Granite Belt drought affected communities during the series too. Thank you again to everyone that participated.

The riders who are part of the Moto1 extended family had amazing results coming away with red plates and trophies for series wins to make us proud.  Among them Kyle Harvey 1st on the KTM 50SX along with Highest Points Rider of the series, Cody O’Loan 1st MX2 Clubman KTM 250SX-F and Lochie O’Loan 1st C Grade Junior Lites and also the Quest Community News Inspiration Sports Star.  Jack Mather also held the Red plate for the first 3 rounds in Junior Lites A Grade before going to compete in the Australian Junior MX Titles and pulling off a 3rd in his class.

Well done to all – can’t wait to be there next year!  All the team at Moto1 Motorcycles.
